One Day Workshop
Sunday 26 August 10am – 5pm
Electronic Music Unit, Level 5, Schulz Building

Adelaide University. Take the elevator opposite Scott Theatre
in the Schulz Building. There will be signs to direct you to the room.

No matter your level of String Teaching or Playing there will be
something of value in this workshop for you. Both sessions
cover topics including posture, bow hold and violin hold, bow
strokes, shifting, vibrato, intonation as well as group teaching
techniques and how to prepare for performances. Bring your
instruments as there are practical elements (includes violas and
cellos). Session 2 includes a playing session to bring to life the
topics cover during the day.

Expect to be inspired and enlightened, improve your
own personal playing and teaching abilities.

10am – 1pm Session 1
1.45 – 2.45 MASTERCLASS 3 students, Grade 3 – Advanced
3pm – 5pm Session 2

Cost for both sessions AUSTA Members $20, Non-Members $50
Cost for 1 session AUSTA Members $20, Non-Members $25

The Masterclass is included in the afternoon session.
