AUSTA VIC is excited to announce an upcoming Pedagogy Day for string players and teachers. See below for details on session presenters, topics and a schedule of the day. These include an afternoon focus on Historically Informed Practices (HIP) and a Q and A session with Peter Fabian (viola). The event will be hosted in Kew at Genazzano FCJ College,
301 Cotham Road.

String departments and music schools are encouraged to share this event with their networks, particularly string teachers in the early years of their practice. Personally, I attended a similar event in 2017 one year after graduating from Uni. It was an accident that I attended, but boy am I glad I did as it introduced me to the world of professional development, learning from colleagues, networking and being inspired by all the different facets of our String community.
