On Sunday 8th Feb we will hold our Annual General Meeting followed by an orchestral reading day. This is a great day to choose new music for your string ensembles and network with your peers. We will be reading through the latest releases from Australian composers as well as from overseas publishers such as Hal Leonard and Highland Etling.

Cost: Free for Austa members. $40 for non-members. $20 tertiary concession. Free if you become a member on the day!

The schedule for the day will be as follows:

9:30am-10:00am – Meet and greet
10:00am-10:30am – AGM. We aim to keep this brief with the sole intention of electing a new committee.
10:30am-11:00am – Light Morning Tea
11:00am-12:30pm – Read through works from Australian composers
12:30pm-1:15pm – Lunch (Provided kindly by The Sydney String Centre)
1:15pm-2:45pm – Read through works from around the world
3:00pm – Finish
