The Classic Sounds Orchestra

The Classic Sounds Orchestra is a beautifully presented amateur orchestra that encourages musicians from all ages to share in making music together. Since 2006, the Classic Sounds Orchestra has been providing a forum for musicians in the Armadale and surrounding region, to join together in making music. In this time, CSO has grown from being a small ensemble to now having three orchestras and a variety of independent ensembles. With a mission statement “bringing together like-minded musicians of any age and background, to share in the making, performing and directing of music”. Monday night rehearsal is always vibrant and inspirational. CSO also has a strong philosophy of encouraging family members to share music together. With the Twinkle Stars group for little children, the varied calibre of orchestras, and the exciting folk music played by the Fiddle Group, there seems to be something for everyone at the Classic Sounds Orchestra Association.
