SA Cello & Bass Ensemble Weekend 2026 (Adults only)
After the success of our first adults-only cello weekend, we’re back for a second year — and this time we’re delighted to welcome our double bass colleagues to join the fun!
Together, we’ll take a musical journey around the world, exploring folk tunes and traditional melodies from a variety of cultures and countries.
All playing levels are welcome. Whether you’re a complete beginner, returning to your instrument after a break, or an experienced player, there will be music and parts to suit everyone. The weekend is designed to be inclusive, supportive, and enjoyable for all participants.
More than just a music workshop, this is an opportunity to share great food, make new friends, and enjoy the unique sense of connection that comes from making music together.
Come along for a weekend of music, laughter, learning, and community.
There will be a free and informal concert on the Sunday afternoon for you to invite family and friends.
