Judy teaches cello at Wesley College, Strathcona and Camberwell Grammar School and in her private studio from beginners to tertiary level. She is a council member of the Victorian Music Teachers Association and has articles and reviews published in Stringendo and Arco, The European String Teachers magazine. Overseas studies with Lynn Harrell at S.U.N.Y. Purchase USA, Heidi Litschauer at Mozarteum, Salzburg, and Gabor Rejto at U.S.C., Los Angeles. Winner of Florence Bradford Scholarship and the Nickson Travelling Scholarship from Melbourne University. Member of I.H.E.M. in Montreux, Switzerland on a full fellowship. Australian tour manager for American violinist Charles Castleman, Professor, Eastman School of Music, New York and Founder/Director of the Castleman Quartet Program.
