Highly dedicated and experienced teacher with over eight years of teaching experience in cello across multiple countries, including America, Korea, and Australia. After graduating from San Francisco Conservatory of Music with a Bachelor of cello performance degree, she relocated to Australia in 2018 and has since been actively building her professional experience as a cellist. In 2019, she passed an audition for the casual cello position at WASO (Western Australian Symphony Orchestra) Additionally, she worked as a cello tutor at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts from 2019 to 2020, providing instruction to university students. Furthermore, she has successfully tutored 30 private students at her studio.
In 2022, she earned her master’s degree in teaching (Secondary) from Edith Cowan University, where she developed and implemented effective teaching strategies and scaffolding techniques to meet the diverse needs of students, fostering their growth toward their full potential. After graduating, she worked as a cello tutor at Lake Joondalup Baptist College, Chisholm and Instrumental Music School Service Public schools in WA. She has also been selected to serve as a panellist for the string section at the Fremantle Eisteddfod for 2023, providing constructive feedback to 50 students.
