Courtney is passionate about the teaching and sharing of music and loves inspiring budding musicians to reach their goals. She is continually exploring new and innovative methods of pedagogy. Courtney holds a Bachelor of Music majoring in Viola Performance from the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University where she graduated in 2018.

Courtney has been teaching violin and viola to students of all ages and a variety of standards since 2016, with experience in private, group, studio, and school instrumental lessons.

She has toured both nationally and internationally in orchestras and ensembles. In 2015 Courtney was a finalist in the St Peters Performer of the Year Recital, and upon auditioning to the Conservatorium, she attained the Nora Baird Memorial Fund Audition Bursary. Courtney is an alumni of the Queensland Youth Symphony Orchestra and the Australian Youth Orchestra.

She holds a valid Blue Card.
