Caminada … a series of walking steps

CaminadaStrings introduces adult students who are fluent at about Grade 3 AMEB standard, or better, to ensemble playing. We are a string orchestra. We have several younger players.

We meet in Memorial Hall, 1 Richmond Road, Westbourne Park, South Australia, from 7.30 pm to 9.30 pm, on Friday evenings.

At each rehearsal, participants contribute $2.00 toward the hall hire.

Our repertoire includes music of a range genres, all chosen because the pieces are fun to play, and each piece will develop the ensemble skills of the musicians.

Musicians participating in our orchestra should bring a music stand, electronic tuner, (floor stop, cellists), dark lead pencil (4B, or similar), and music, to rehearsals.
