Casey Philharmonic Orchestra
The Casey Philharmonic Orchestra is a young and vibrant amateur community orchestra serving the City of Casey and Melbourne’s south-eastern suburbs. As Resident Orchestra of Bunjil Place, it presents orchestral and chamber music in one of the region’s premier cultural venues several times each year.
The orchestra’s vision is to foster a welcoming, inclusive musical community that supports local amateur musicians while striving for high-quality performance. Strong emphasis is placed on collaboration, relationship-building, and partnerships with local arts organisations. Looking ahead, the orchestra aims to grow the musical life of Casey through initiatives such as youth ensembles, school music camps, mentoring programs, community chamber performances, and the long-term development of a professional ensemble.
Through a diverse concert program that blends classical favourites with contemporary repertoire—including film music, musicals, and popular works—the Casey Philharmonic Orchestra seeks to engage established concertgoers while also inspiring new audiences and future generations.
