Sophie Curtis is a dedicated and innovative music educator committed to sharing the benefits of music-making. Trained as a classical cellist in Perth, Sophie possesses extensive experience as a performing artist, having served as a soloist, chamber musician, orchestral section leader, and recording artist. Sophie founded the WA Young Artists Chamber Music Program (WAYACHAMP) in 2011. She is an active member of the Australian Strings Association (AUSTA) and serves as an examiner for the AMEB.  Sophie is currently only accepting chamber music groups in her teaching studio.
