Vov Dylan is an Australian violinist, recording artist, and educator teaching since 1998, with a private studio based in Thornleigh on Sydney’s North Shore (and online). Vov works with students from complete beginners through to advanced performers, with a particular focus on building foundations, strong exam and performance outcomes, and genuine musical confidence.

Students from the studio regularly achieve high results in AMEB and ABRSM pathways, succeed in competitions and leadership roles, and progress into tertiary study and professional performance.

Alongside his performing career (including ARIA chart success), Vov is an active advocate for Australian music and music education, presenting for Australian Strings Association and collaborating with leading composers including Elena Kats-Chernin and Margaret Brandman. In 2025, he received a Teachers Award from the Hong Kong Victoria International Music Competition.

With experience teaching in primary and secondary schools in both public and private schools Vov Dylan’s studio in Thornleigh is able to support any student from the early stages through to University.
