Chin-Hwi hails from over 35 years of music performance, and music tutoring for the past 25 years. Chin-Hwi’s a passionate strings teacher (violin, viola and beginners cello), who teaches in private institutions (Central Coast, Newcastle and Port Stephens schools) where she is strings tutor and directs ensembles and beginner string groups. She runs her busy music studio in Mayfield West (Newcastle suburb) and coordinates monthly string ensembles for her students of mixed ages and experience.

Students travel from Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Lower and Upper Hunter Valley areas, Mid-North Coast to attend her studio. WhatsApp video tutorials are offered to students from interstate and abroad.
