WHEN  Sunday 21 Oct 2018  9:30 – 11:00am

WHERE Albany Senior HS Performing Arts Centre

Stage fright is a big issue for some people, and a significant issue for many. If you do get nervous to the extent you can’t express yourself or share and enjoy what you really love about music in your performances, this workshop will enable you to begin to heal your fears around performing and regain your original inspiration for taking up music in the first place. You will learn practical on-the-spot approaches which will change your whole experience of playing in public and dissolve the old patterns which caused you to feel anxiety instead of joy. Includes specific take-home techniques and practical tools for on-stage use in even the most demanding performances*

The format will be like a masterclass. Rupert will work one on one with each string participant for 15 mins in front of an audience. Participants please note the focus will be to heal fear when playing in public, and it is not necessary to prepare full works for performance.

STRICTLY LIMITED Participant Bookings.

Register your interest to play before Friday 7th September by calling Festival Sponsor, Julie Parish, at the Classical Music Shop (08) 9842 6117. Preference will be given to string performers.  $15 Students / $20 Adults

 OBSERVERS ONLY  $5 Students / $10 Adults
