It is with great delight we announce that AUSTA SA will be hosting esteemed world-class violinist, pedagogue, lecturer and teacher Dr Robin Wilson. The two-day conference is to be held in the Hartley concert room, Elder Conservatorium on March 14th and 15th.

Dr Wilson is currently the resident violin teacher at (ANAM) Melbourne and has performed and presented both here, in the US and the UK. He is an expert on the historically informed performance of Brahms, obtaining his doctorate in this field. His students are regular prize winners of esteemed competitions, including the 2018 winner of the Yehudi Menuhin International Violin Competition.
Robin performs in “The Australian Octet” and continues to give solo recitals. He plays a Gagliano workshop violin, Naples, 1784.
