The Australian Violin Pedagogy Conference 2019 brings together acclaimed teachers, performers and researchers for a weekend of seminars and clinics covering artistic, technical and philosophical issues essential to the work of violin teachers in studios and schools. Conference topics include Australian repertoire for the HSC, Competitions, Building a string orchestra, the art of lesson observation, repertoire sessions, masterclasses and round table discussions.
The Conference opens on Friday September 27 with a recital by Adam Chalabi and Anna Grinberg.
There will be something for all teachers of violin and the conference is also a relaxed way to meet fellow teachers and build networks and connections.
