Members from each of AUSTA's state chapters throughout Australia are drawn from a broad spectrum of society. String performers and teachers form the core of most of the membership but, support from others is essential to the success of the activities of each of the chapters.
AUSTA is able, through the dedicated chapter volunteers, to offer a wide program of string activities for students, teachers and community members and it is in the chapter membership that some of Australia's finest musicians, teachers and instrument makers are to be found.
